MAGIC goes to conference!

We are very happy to announce that MAGIC has been presented at the 1st Conference of E-Twinning in Greece, Patras.

The aims and objectives, the activities and educational visits have been presented mainly with respect the Greek team. It was a great chance to disseminate the outcomes of the program and our great enthusiasm of being part of this great program!

Photo competition & exhibition "HAVING THEIR SAY"

Young people from all over Europe speak for themselves and take snapshots of their everyday lives in order to display them in the photo exhibition with title “Having their say” organized in Thessaloniki by the Norwegian Embassy in Athens in cooperation with Thessaloniki European Youth Capital 2014.

The event is funded by EEA and Norway Grants, is supported by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and will be housed at the central ground floor of the City Hall of Thessaloniki from 24 November to 19 December 2014.

Getting ready for our partners visit

While our teams are working on theme 3, we are also getting ready for our partners visit to Thessaloniki next March! There is a great chance that we also visit Athens!

So we have rolled up our sleeves and started organising activities and events. If you have any ideas please feel free to add them as a comment. What should we avoid? What would you like to see and visit?

Kick off with "Shopping"

MAGIC Comenius activities have started for this year! We are on our way to a hypothetical shopping! Students will visit their local markets to "buy" some products and then record a video on their choices.

They will then edit their videos and upload them on their blogs.

Presenting MAGIC Comeniusproject to our school

On the 21st of May, last day of this school year and only few days before exams start, the students of MAGIC Comenius presented the aims, objectives and outcomes of the project to all of their school mates and teachers.

Two hundred students and twenty nine teachers heard and watched how the project has evolved so far and our overall experience from our visits to the Netherlands and Slovenia.

This is practically the end of our Comenius activities for this year. We are really looking forward to starting working again for the project in September. Till then we wish good luck to the students with their exams and have a nice summer!

Opening of the 19th Exhibition of Student Photography 2014

Today, 2 May 2014 our MAGIC Comenius students participated at the 19th Exhibition of Student Photography 2014 organised by the Photography Center of Thessaloniki. The exhibition was a great chance for many students to show their work, talt to each other about their experiences and get together.

The exhibition will be free and open to the public, 9.00 - 21.00, Monday through Friday.

19th exhibition of student photography

Our MAGIC Comenius students will take part to the 19th exhibition of student photography organised by the Photography Centre of Thessaloniki. Fifty one pictures taken by our recent Comenius visits in the Netherlands and Slovenia are going to be hosted at the exhibition hall of the Architecture Centre of Thessaloniki starting from the 2nd of May.
