Erika answers the first question about her overall experience from being a member of the MAGIC Comenius project. She then comments about the three educational visits in the Netherlands, Slovenia and Greece.
Despoina is answering whether she actually learned anything new about media and how they managed to communicate with her fellow students from abroad.
MAGIC Comenius activities have started for this year! We are on our way to a hypothetical shopping! Students will visit their local markets to "buy" some products and then record a video on their choices.
They will then edit their videos and upload them on their blogs.
The first year students of the 28th Gymnasium of Thessaloniki recorded some questions for al of you. So please feel free to watch their videos and answer their questions. You may leave an answer to one or more of the questions. This will make this part of our project more interesting and fun for other students in our schools. Plus you will get to know more people and why not, start getting ready for a new project!
When you answer, please say whose question you are answering mentioning their name and your name as well. This makes more personal your interaction and gives a more clear answer to the person who asked the question. Don't you think so?

This is a video ad that MAGIC 5 students created. It's about a MAGIC Black Bull drink that gives power to whoever drinks it! And as the ad prompts: "Drink and everything else becomes slower"...
One of our MAGIC Comenius students created an interesting video using images and small video clips from our visit to the Thessaloniki Cinema Museum. The video shows different parts of our visit and how the students entered the world of filming.
As you may have guessed students entered a special studio
where they wrote their script, shared parts and used the cinema camera
to produce their short film. That was the most fun part of the visit and this is the short video they created!
Students had the chance to hear about the history of the world cinematography, watch a 3D movie
about the cinema, watch and hear about important actors, directors and
films in the Greek and international filmography.

One of the most interesting parts of our visit were the three workshops organised by our Dutch partners. One of them was about the presentation of the French mockumentary by director William Karel which originally aired on Arte in 2002 with the title Opération Lune. The basic premise for the film is the theory that the television footage from the Apollo 11 Moon landing was faked and actually recorded in a studio by the CIA with help from director Stanley Kubrick. It features some surprising guest appearances, most notably by Donald Rumsfeld, Dr. Henry Kissinger, Alexander Haig, Vernon Walters, Buzz Aldrin and Stanley Kubrick's widow, Christiane Kubrick.
Between the 26th of November and 3rd of December the MAGIC Comenius teams were met in the Netherlands! The educational visit proved a great experience for all students and teachers teams.
